Kendal residents are starting a Parkinson’s Group for people with Parkinson’s (or related movement disorders) and their partners. The group is open to people in the nearby communities as well as Kendal residents. The focus of this group will be educational.
The first meeting will be held at Kendal at Ithaca, in Conference Room A, at 10:30 AM on Monday, September 8. Subsequent meetings will be on the second Monday of the month. Attending the first meeting will be Ginny Houseknecht and Robyn Ballard, co-facilitators of the Southern Tier Parkinson’s Disease Support Group. Their group has met for several years, is very well-attended, and has had many speakers. They will share their expertise and resources with us.
